Southern Thai destinations continued to receive world recognition from digital-saavy travellers this past year. Trip Advisor recently announced its Travelers’ Choice™ awards for Destinations on the Rise in 2014, and Krabi’s Ao Nang made 4th on the world list, while two Phuket spots were also recognized, though only on the top Thailand destinations list.

Well, it is the start of January and that means that 2014 is completely behind us. I figure there is no better way to kick off my column than to take a quick look back at connected technology from the year past before we look forward to the future in the coming months.
