IS jihadists bulldoze ancient city of Nimrud

Condemnation of Islamic State poured in yesterday (March 6) after the group bulldozed the ruins of the 3,500-year-old Assyrian city of Nimrud, the jihadists’ latest attack on Iraqi cultural treasures that the UN termed a “war crime”.
