New pier proposed for Phuket

PHUKET: It has been proposed by the Marine Department and Ministry of Transport that new piers be built in Phuket, Phang-Nga and Krabi to support the growing number of tourists in the provinces. However, some concerns have been raised about the proposal, especially in Phuket.
