Opinion: Clearing corruption can be hard graft

PHUKET: Every now and then a seemingly routine declaration of war on corruption by Thailand’s leader of the day carries with it something different – a whiff of hope that actual change may be in the wind. The national broadcast by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday (June 8) brought exactly that.
