Before coming to Thailand, I travelled quite a lot in Africa plus North, Central and South America. Aside from such things as diving, local tourist attractions, food, drink, beaches, mountains, festivals and enjoying the company of other travellers and locals, I always enjoyed finding local markets. I would go out of my way if I had heard of an interesting market.
